STORYTELLING PERFORMANCES
Through entertaining, challenging, and heartwarming narratives from around the world, performances for adults are sure to leave the audience moved, inspired, and deep in thought. Shows consist of a collection of stories structured around a common theme, such as wisdom tales, feminist folklore, and magical realism. Children’s performances focus on fun and curiosity, with the occasional lesson snuck in for good measure.
KEYNOTE SPEAKING
University students around the world are experiencing highly concerning levels of mental health problems, like depression, anxiety, and thoughts of suicide. And they know it. Wherever I’ve gone in the world, I’ve found that young people are hungry for healing. Through empowering stories that challenge victim narratives and my own personal experiences healing from depression, I help young adults transform their stories and live bravely.
STORY-HEALING CIRCLES
This small-group, 3-hour workshop takes participants on a guided meditation to discover and heal stories hidden in the subconscious. Participants will have time to discuss their experiences and interpret the symbolic meaning of the story that came up for them, and will be left with tools to continue going deeper on their own.
